Piecing

Piecing is sewing together fabric pieces to form a quilt top and usually means using a pattern.

On point quilt pattern - machine quilting.

Quilting

Quilting is the process of stitching layers of fabric together to create a textured, patterned piece.

Spray basting - I'm using my king size bed to make a quilt sandwich and 505 adhesive spray by Sew Nikki.

Basting

Securing the quilt top, batting, and backing together using pins, spray, or long stitches to prepare for quilting.

Attaching binding to the back on the quilt first on home sewing machine by Sew Nikki.

Binding

Sewing a fabric strip around the edges to enclose raw seams and give it a finished look.
